Rooks of Burgundy is historical fiction set 1016/1017 in the Duchy of Burgundy. Raban is a young serf farmer in a small fief. Spring is freshly come and the world beginning again, and so the story opens.

70,000 Words
It took awhile, but there it is. Hopefully my writing will pick up again now that it is fall. I just hope that college doesn't interfere too much. I find that the closer I get to the end of my book the longer it is. Now it is looking to be around 110,000 to 120,000 words. Before editing that is. Oh well, I must press on.

Yes you must. 70,000 words is a lot.
How long have you been writing it? (You don't have to answer but I want to get an estimate for my books.)
Nearly a year and a half. But there have been dry spells.
